Week 13

Yes, still catching up but still persisting . . . . I persist. I win. Winning in keeping things in perspective; winning while chipping off the old cement, winning at building the new blueprint.

As I mentioned in my last blog, I had gotten off track with my sits. I’m still at the 15 minutes per session, but I figure that’s okay as long as I continue to practice. Still not moving forward quickly, but I know the work will pay off at some point. Any success is good, as it helps in boosting the stimulus response that we need to move forward.

This week’s Master Key lesson, 13.8: “. . . What are we to think in order to secure what we really desire?” I know I have spent many years attempting to discover what that truly is. Of course, he tells us that: “. . . what we all desire, what everyone is seeking, is happiness and harmony.” All those years spent searching for something so basic and simple. “If we can be truly happy we shall have everything the world can give. If we are happy ourselves we can make others happy.” D’oh! That’s easy, right? Too bad I spent all of my time attempting to satisfy others first, not realizing that I should have started with myself.

However, “we cannot be happy unless we have health, strength, congenial friends, pleasant environment, sufficient supply, not only to take care of our necessities but to provide for those comforts and luxuries to which we are entitled. I’m still working on these things as I have been for a long time, although more deliberately with the MKE. The work done on my journey to harmony has been helpful and has helped me persist in the work. So I know that my consciousness is changing and, “as the consciousness changes, all conditions must gradually change to meet the changed consciousness and the requirements of the new situation.” Woo-hoo—progress!
